Rise By Lifting Others

Dean Curtis | Learning how to give better

Rise by Lifting Others Podcast Season 1 Episode 11

Dean thought he’d be a High School teacher his whole life. A few years later, he sold his business he’d stumbled upon in a multi-million dollar deal. Then what? Dean Curtis, co-founder of Interweave Solutions International teaches us through his story what makes a life worth living.

Why Dean chooses to have less. How he’s learned that giving can hurt and how to give better. Why life is more fun when you chase meaning instead of wealth. How to uncover a passion within you by starting small. The role Dean’s family has played in designing a meaningful life.

“You really do have to enjoy your passion. If it is just about money, I think sooner or later, people will pick that up. But if you’re actually changing the world, and you happen to make some money doing it, or educating a lot of people, and don’t make a lot of money but it’s sufficient for your needs, then that’s a heck of a lot funner life than just having cash.”
